We will start our season Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 2:00. Please come dressed for the sport – that means athletic shorts or sweats – no jeans or jean shorts, no belts. They are not allowed in competition, so let's get in the habit right away of dressing appropriately for the sport. Tennis shoes with laces firmly tied. :) Bring water and your enthusiasm!
Directions to the track at North Gwinnett:
From I-85 take Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road going west toward Suwanee. You will travel about 6 miles – as you cross over Buford Highway the road name changes to Suwanee Dam Road – just keep on. After you cross Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, go to the third traffic light – that is Level Creek Road and you will see the high school at the corner. Turn right onto Level Creek and go to the first light. Turn left on West Price, and go to the first parking lot on the left. That's our access point to the track.
Open to all Special Olympic athletes. If you will be competing in a different sport at Summer Games, you are welcome to cross train with us!
